“Overall, I learned a lot about myself in the past 3 months. I learned to do better and be better and I learned to never give up. I feel we all need to learn these lessons at some point in life. However, I’m still left feeling Saudade. I still miss the past. I’m still hopeful for the future. I still hope.” – Drizzy Hanna
Ambush x 2018 OuterSpace Project Recap Video
OuterSpace is an event series that merges public art, live music, design, skateboarding, and culture. With an outdoor mural project at its core, OSP’s goal is to enhance outdoor spaces, generate positive energy, expand the mind, and engage the public through urban beautification and creativity. The final party and main event, “The Big Bang,” is the culmination of all elements, including live art installations, musical performances, a gallery exhibition, Secret Walls illustration battle, and, of course, live skateboarding.
Go Skateboarding Day 2018 – Ambush Board Co.
Without fail, every year “Go Skateboarding Day” sneaks up on us. Could you blame us? It always seems as though the day just passed. Why shouldn’t we get deja vu since we consider every day “Go Skateboarding Day.” Truthfully, nothing outside the ordinary happens on June, 21st. Sure, there are a few special events, some sanctioned by the governing board of the International Association of Skateboard Companies, and other events that aren’t trademarked. Regardless, to me the day always tends to feel about the same wherever it’s observed. That’s because, at its core, “Go Skateboarding Day” is just another day revolving around kicking it with friends both new and old and celebrating the ever continuous joy of riding a useless wooden toy. The spirit of the day is truly infectious. Although, with all due respect, if the freestyler brainiacs that make up the IASC (in all their infinite wisdom) could pick a shorter day next time around, maybe, my sunburn won’t be so bad. – Ambush Board Co.
Creature Tour 2017
The Creature fiends dropped by Kennesaw Skatepark for a little demo and signing. Gravette, Russell, Baekkel, Hooker, and Kimbel destroyed the park and spent time chilling with their fans. Special thanks to Creature for giving us a visit.
Bender X Ambush Full Vid
Ambush and Bender are the two most preeminent local skate brands. To celebrate our near 20 year friendship, we thought it would be cool to partner up and make a 100% local collab deck. The deck was manufactured by Drifter and features a shovel nose and a slight taper towards the tail. The deck also contains a local ATL fanzine made by Jeremiah himself. It’s such a cool concept and design, it made us want to grab some ramps and skate like we were 12 years old again. So, that’s what we did.
2016 Go Skateboarding Day | Ambush Board Co.
Arguably our favorite day of the year! Go Skateboarding Day is always a great excuse to to get the community together and share in our collective love of skateboarding. We couldn’t think of a better place to host it than our local skatepark with all of our friends.
