Inspired by the golden era of skateboarding, rap, and pop culture, the collaboration between the independent streetwear brand Cash Only and DC Shoes features a limited rip-away denim DC Lynx inspired by Cash Only’s infamous ‘jorts’. The collection and pays tribute to the period before smartphones and YouTube when pants were big, dreams were even bigger, and the only way to experience a city and its scene was to physically travel to it.
SKATEPARK 162’s 10th anniversary CELEBRATION – DC Shoes
On August 10th , the skatepark 162, Saint jean de luz, celebrated its 10th anniversary. The event featured a skateboard challenge, Hip Hop music and the exceptional presence of Jeru the Damaja. The crowd enjoyed the good vibes, fueled by Carlsberg and orchestrated by DJ Sensi!

Filmed in Cork city Ireland, ‘Cmon Dawg’ showcases street skateboarding in Cork. For this video, DC worked on filming through some of the city’s oldest and newest spots to show the diversity that our unique city has to offer.

The DEEP REST TOUR Video – DC Shoes
THE DEEP REST TOUR is the natural continuity of John’s mission to shine a light on suicide and mental health awareness within the skate community, started in 2021 with his documentary This Too Shall Pass.
In it, John opens up about his own mental health struggles and experiencing suicidal thoughts. John talks about how he uses meditation, breathing, and skateboarding to help deal with depression.
In spring 2023, John is coming to Europe with DCSHOES European riders to meet with the skate community in France, Spain and, the U.K to share his own experience and give tools and tips to help manage mental health.
