The highly-anticipated first stop of the 2016 Dew Tour was held in Long Beach, California, on July 22- 24 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. There the Dew Tour hosted a revolutionary contest format combining individual contests with four separate courses: Tech, Bowl, Rail, and the top six advanced to the final Gap section. For the second year in a row, TRANSWORLD SKATEBOARDING and Dew Tour have teamed up to host a Shop Showdown video contest on TWSkate.com to find the best shop team in the country. This year, we invited 15 new shops along with our returning champs, 303 Boards from Colorado, to create a 3-5 minute video edit in the span of one month featuring their best shop riders.
The final four teams will be flown to Long Beach, California, to attend the Dew Tour on July 23 and 24 where they will compete head-to-head on the newly updated Dew Tour course.
