Finals & Best Trick Simple Session 2016
Only 15 skaters made it from the qualifiers to compete in the Simple Session finals including Greg Lutzka, Felipe Gustavo and more. After the finals, there was a best trick held on each obstacle with high flying tricks going down for cash prizes.

It’s almost a rule then whenever someone wins a Golden Ticket out of Qualifiers they end up blowing it in the Finals. But apparently Brazilians don’t like rules. Lucas Alves won Qualfiers and then in the last run of the entire Damn Am weekend, shocked himself and the city of Santos with the greatest ender of all time. Lucas also gets a free round trip to Tampa and a prequalified spot in the Tampa Am Semi-Finals.

The skate world was introduced to Sammy Baptista in 1998 in the classic video Shorty’s “Fulfill the Dream”. After living the dream and having a lengthy career Sammy decided to retire in 2014.
