A summary of all the things in skateboarding that we were lucky enough to be a part of. Thanks to everyone who works with us and everyone who attends all this stuff in skateboarding that we’re up to. – The Boardr
After we finished up our new barge and obstacles here at HQ, we got together with Doom Sayers and planned a Best Trick Contest with a twist. Right at 8pm when it started, we revealed a trick list for cash. Chaos followed and things we’ve never seen before by people we’ve never met went down.
A 540 and a big flight front board in one run? Damn! The skateboarding was off the charts but Jake Ilardi was unbeatable.
This year, The Boardr Am Finals are at Empire Am Getting Paid in Montreal where a $20,000USD prize purse goes out. Winner of each Boardr Am stop gets all expenses paid and is directly in the Semi-Finals at Am Getting Paid.
As you know, Marinela has been backing what we’re up to in skateboarder here for a couple years now. They helped us expand the Grind for Life Series across the country this year with two new stops in Californa. While we were out there, we did some demos at a couple stores with Ish and Dilo out there shredding for the locals in between snack sampling. Chaz and Nate have some photos and video for you. Watch for the #BoardrBoys and #BoardrBus on the road in your town soon.
A recap of Harold Hunter Day 2017 at LES earlier this year from The Boardr.
This year on Go Skateboarding Day, The Boardr decided to make a day tour of a few of these spots. When was the last time you went to three backyard spots in one afternoon all within skating distance? That was our day.
When Jereme Knibbs sends our text group sample street clips from his recent adventures, we get extra hyped at the ripping rampage he’s been on. One of the most exciting things I’ve heard him say is, “I can’t wait to show you what I can’t show you right now.” Looking forward to it, Jereme. He just won The Boardr Am at NYC today with this run. Congrats! He’s headed to Am Getting Paid in Montreal for the Season Finals where he’s in the Semi-Finals set to pick up his piece of the $20,000USD pie there. Thanks to everyone that skated today. Next stop is Huntington Beach on July 29th.

The Death Races! That unscripted triples wall ride combined with that ender made for one of the most entertaining match ups a couple years ago. Kevin, Daan, and Milton! This year CPH Open is July 19 – 23, 2017.

The Boardr has been dragging Tim O’connor around the world to all of the Vans Park Series stops to yell at the skaters during their runs, but, it looks like he wants to take matters into his own hands. Welcome to the first ever Tim Invitational. Let’s just say attendance was below average.
