Heading inland from Coolum Beach and west towards the hinterland lies the peaceful valley of Yandina Creek. Peaceful that is until the sun rises and the Pilz residence kicks into action. As the menagerie of both humans and animals awaken, chaos ensues. Dogs, horses, birds, insects, chickens, cats and snakes to name a few break into a chorus of madness. Lurking amongst this spectacle is the wiliest creature of them all, Jackson Pilz. For several blue skied days, we were lucky enough to observe this unique specimen in his natural environment.
