With this campaign, Vans reminds fans that skateboarding would not be where it is today without the strength of community. In a new video campaign titled “Where It Starts”, Vans and Skateistan zero in on what makes skateboarding so special—the streets, skateparks, backyard pools and communities that built skateboarding from the ground up. In this segment, Yann shares his own experience, and the importance of the skate community to him.
