For 40 years, FA Skates 85 bounced around in Mt. Prospect (and other surrounding towns) in Illinois. It wasn’t just a skate shop—it was a home for generations of skateboarders. It was where people bought their first board, met lifelong friends, planned sessions, and became part of a community. There have only been a handful of True FA videos over the years, which makes this one even more meaningful.

This isn’t a goodbye as much as it is a thank you. Thank you to everyone who kept the shop alive for four decades, everyone who skated with us, supported local skateboarding, and helped create the memories that made this place so special.
