The Platfrm Portraits: Georgia Martin Talks Skateboarding, Growth, and Industry Change
Recently transplanting from North Carolina to Long Beach, CA, Georgia Martin is feeling settled into her new life and is nothing short of excited to take on the next chapter. A true street skater, take Georgia to a new spot and watch her creativity go to work. She has a great approach to trick selections and knows what it takes to put a line together. So, what’s her secret? Hard, honest work. Georgia has been on the board for years making videos with her friends growing up, but as of late she has been cruising with the Toy Machine crew and filming on a level she never expected. Recognizing the shift in the industry to make more space for women to succeed, she plans to do her part by staying focused and skating.
