The volcanic island paradise of Tahiti has a small but dedicated skate scene, due in no small part to the much larger and more famous surf scene centred around the legendary wave break of Teahupo’o nearby. Although the island’s volcanic ground makes for bountiful nature, it is also very porous, which means it, and any surface made from it, will eat you alive when you slam. Ryan Spencer, Jordan Taylor, Adrien Coillard, Jarne Verbruggen, and Philipp Schuster rolled the dice to see what they could come back with on the shred front, while trying not to shred themselves.
New World Element – Europe
While new building developments and perfect spots pop up seemingly every day, there is no doubt Europe remains the Mecca of skateboarding, Barcelona being the dream destination for most everyone. Visitors flock to the warm weather, legendary spots and witness endless talent. This combination seems to push the native Europeans in another direction, uncovering gems all over the continent while traversing through the different climates. They all seem to have a unique style and are incredibly versatile. Jarne Verbruggen and Jacopo Carozzi are prime examples as seen in this final episode of New World Element. Alongside the Element Europe team is Evan Smith, Brandon Westgate, Mason Silva, Nassim Guammaz, Dominick Walker and more.
