SPoT’s first All Ages Contest of the year went off with a bang and we got a good taste of what this year’s future of skateboarding looks like.

It’s not every legend’s favorite contest for nothing, and Finals day of Tampa Pro once again sees the stoke meter cranked to 11.

The top 30 skateboarders of Tampa Pro weekend, plus prior Tampa Pro winners like Luan Oliveira and Torey Pudwill will battle it out in a classic best run counts format for the coveted title of 2019 Tampa Pro champ.
Vans Clash of the Crews 2019 – Best Trick Contest
In true SPoT fashion, we added a few extra events to this year’s Clash of the Crews Shop Vs. Shop contest. One of them was a ripping Best Trick Jam that ended with Marcos Montoya blasting an insane krooked grind nollie flip out across the flatbar. Yeah Marcos!
Vans Clash of the Crews 2019 – Death Race
Once again, shops from all over the country come to SPoT to battle it out for $2,000 and street cred at Vans Clash of the Crews. The night before, we welcome everyone to town with an epic Death Race around the Pro Course. This year we added a kids’ race and an actual “Athletic Race” where people just run it…because, why not? Big thanks to Salt Life for hooking us up with some free beer for 21+.
2017 – 2018 Skatelite Course Rebuild – Skatepark of Tampa
Every year we update the Pro Course here at SPoT to make way for Tampa Am and Tampa Pro, and this year was by far the best. Between Andrew Schoultz’s artwork and Skatelite providing the materials to make it all come together, it’s the sickest course to date (but we’re a little biased). Huge thanks to Skatelite and everyone who helped hammer a nail or push a broom to get this thing finished.

This year on Go Skateboarding Day, The Boardr decided to make a day tour of a few of these spots. When was the last time you went to three backyard spots in one afternoon all within skating distance? That was our day.
