The Trudger by Simon Bannerot – Lakai Footwear
“This shoe was designed for endless trudging, wherever your path leads you. Over Muddy trails, steep concrete hills, mountains, deserts, beaches. Through any weather- sun, rain, snow, the Trudger will go wherever your heart desires. In the Pacific North West, my friends and I skate for miles and miles from suburbs to cities to find our choice spots, “trudging” the whole way (walking/pushing through it all). I need shoes that protect my feet with padding on the sides, tongue, and toes; shoes that lace up tight if needed and are high enough to protect my ankle from shark bite or sprains. These shoes are comfortable, simple and not flashy. They are warm, durable and most importantly, they skate and flick soooo nice.” – Tested and Approved by Simon Bannerot
CCS Customs X Lakai with Vincent Alvarez, Griffin Gass, and Stevie Perez
Each skater’s style is like a signature; it’s unique personal reflection that makes every trick part of a larger self-portrait. So when CCS hit a couple of obstacles with Vincent Alvarez, Stevie Perez, and Giffin Gass from the Lakai team we know each of these guys is gonna bring their own assortment of flare to the session. It’s what makes skating great.
And now, thanks to Customs X by CCS, they can each create their own Lakai apparel that’s as unique as their approaches to barrier skating… and so can you. Push the Lakai graphic T-shirts, long sleeves, and griptape in any direction you want. Keep it clean, make it hectic, or go full abstraction. The flare is in your hands. Build your own HERE.

Griffin Gass for The Manchester XLK – LAKAI
Back by popular demand, the Manchester XLK redefined the skate shoe model in the mid 2000’s. The design was the opposite of the market at that time, yet it had everything a skate shoe needed. It was a simple design with a streamlined silhouette and seamless toe. Minimizing the panels reduced seam blowout which created a more durable skate shoe. A basic concept that still holds true with today’s skateboarding. A nod to the past with modern technology. We are welcoming back two original colorways from their first inception in 2004. Shop the Manchester XLK HERE.
