Ryan Sheckler has once again opened the doors to his skatepark and invited 17 of the world’s most well-rounded skateboarders to battle it out in year two of Red Bull SŌLUS. Each skater has one hour to put together their best line at The Sandlot; no crowd, no other skaters, no distractions – just an internal battle to get the best line possible.

Erick Winkowski is the definition of unique. From trick selection and board size, Erick has carved his own path in skateboarding that looks like no one else. While old-school 80’s shapes have made a comeback in recent years, no one rides them like Erick. He can do Ho-Ho plants on vert or Smith grind a 20-stair handrail on them. Yeah, he’s something special.

Erick rides for Santa Cruz, Indy, OJ, Mob Grip, Bronson Speed Co, and Emerica.

Judges Vanessa Torres, Mike Sinclair, and Jason Rothmeyer will evaluate each video based on style, progression and creativity. Red Bull SŌLUS is BACK and BETTER than ever!

Ryan Sheckler has once again opened the doors to his skatepark and invited 17 of the world’s most well-rounded skateboarders to battle it out in year two of Red Bull SŌLUS. Each skater has one hour to put together their best line at The Sandlot; no crowd, no other skaters, no distractions – just an internal battle to get the best line possible.

There’s something in the water in Florida that continually produces amazing skaters. Meow Skateboards Poe Pinson is no exception. She’s another new up and comer that has a deep bag of tricks that are done with proper form and power. She took third place at this year’s X Games Women’s Street Comp, so she’ll be familiar with having to perform under the spotlight.

Poe skates for Meow Skateboards, Nike SB, Bones Wheels, Krux Trucks, Jessup Griptape, and Thread Wallets.

SUN DIEGO BOARDSHOP’S AM SLAM 2021 – DAY ONE | KEEN RAMPS

A few weeks prior to the filming of this video, the Keen Ramps team dismantled an out of commission school bus to transform it into a skate-able course for the upcoming Am Slam event hosted by Sun Diego Boardshops. This week they load up their gear and crew, strap down the bus and load up another 26 foot truck with ramps and make way down to Mission Beach in San Diego to set up the course, skate, and meet some SD locals.

Leandre Sanders, aka Skate Goat, possesses the rare ability to skate fluidly in both stances which makes his ability to skate street and transition that much more impressive. He’s become a local legend at the Venice Skatepark where he can be found putting on one-man demos for the always packed house. Be prepared to see some magic in his runs.

Candy Jacobs’ is a contest veteran that somehow keeps getting better and better every year. With multiple X Games, Dew Tours, and even an Olympic qualification under her belt, she’s very familiar with the pressure and tricks it takes to win, so she’ll use that to her advantage against the newer competitors.
