CJ Collins hits the Pacific Northwest on a mission to find the best concrete skate spots the area has to offer in his first Red Bull skate part. From backyard bowls to Burnside, CJ puts on a show. He’s joined by Mark “Red” Scott, the founder and foreman at Dreamland Skateparks, whose fingerprint is all over the Oregon skate scene and the custom parks he’s built over the years. Flip Skateboards returns to the TransWorld SKATEboarding Team Challenge for their third year in a row. Although for Flip’s first time the team was unable to secure a spot on the podium. Watch the best tricks team riders Louie Lopez, Keegan Palmer, Lucas Rabelo, and Gabriel Fortunato made during the Team Challenge competition.
OC RAMPS moved warehouses earlier this year and wanted to build a new skate park. The ramps consists of several mini ramps at all heights- 3ft-7ft. We included a super fun pump tract, extensions/tombstoness and best part of all….a huge stage between ramps for bands to perform or bbq during skate events. We call it the “halfpipe stage.” Watch as their skate team helps assemble the course.

The 2018 Vans Park Series Pro Tour in Huntington Beach completed its prelim rounds earlier today to determine the final lineup for the men and women’s main event tomorrow, August 4. The VPS Men’s Pro Tour began with 18 challengers gunning for one of ten open spots in the semi-finals. Event wildcard and winner of the 2017 VPS Brazil National Championships, Luiz Francisco qualified in first, with a dominating performance. Luiz’s comfort in the park was no surprise, considering his 2017 finish in Huntington Beach earned him 2nd place on the Continental podium. Strong performances also came from the other two event wildcards, Heimana Reynolds, who earned 2nd, and Zion Wright, known for his street skating prowess, placed 6th, impressing the judges with a well-rounded run that proved he has what it takes to hang with the top-level park terrain skaters.
