Have you ever just wanted to buy a van and travel around the country doing whatever you want with your friends? That’s exactly what Alec Majerus did! In February of 2020 Alec took his ‘Gnar-V’ sprinter camper van from southern California all the way cross-country to Tampa, Florida for the annual Tampa Pro contest. With his friend and fellow ripper, Jared Cleland, Alec and the boys hit the road, skating all sorts of spots, travelling over 6,500 miles through 12 states in a little over 2 weeks!

After a signing at local OKC skate shop, the tour vans head to a local skatepark for a demonstration. Apocalypse now… Andrew Reynolds becomes the focal point while the rest of the crew mingle with the Oklahomies… he stomps out a backside 360 kickflip melon on the hip with a broken board victory ride. The PD baby cheers him on. Neckface, in charge of the pyrotechnics for the event, coordinates the finale with a Black Cat firecracker fiasco. “We got a tailwhip, tweaking that motherfucker…”
In Tulsa, Oklahoma, at a metal ramp skatepark, a drunken toad stumbles on the course. Tulsans show up from near and far to see the BAKER Has A Deathwish performance. The crew members bang their tricks out like drum cymbals in concert hall. This is a two team, three versus three competition, where skill and passion are put to the test through four rounds. Each round is worth a 2 second (total of 6 seconds up for grabs) head start which applies to the final round.
