The Detroit skate scene is alive and well, with each new DIY build the skaters put more breathe into the streets of Detroit and give back to any skateboarder who rolls through town. Derrick Dykas, Jeremy Cooper, and Evan Hutchings are just a few of the locals spearheading the DIY movement around Detroit. Derrick say’s it best; “You don’t see football players building their own fields, and raising their own goal posts, the beauty of skateboarding it’s ours” Thank you Levis, this was a very fun project It was a pleasure document these guys give back. – Jason Hernandez
