Whether it be defining style and innovation like Mark Gonzales, pure determination and vision like Danny Way or one of the biggest bags of tricks and more gnarly Street NBD’s than anybody like Nyjah Huston, we all enjoy taking a look into our favorites Skaters lives and minds. Nyjah Huston has been at the top of the competition game since he was a child, collecting piles of wins and medals. Skateboarding in some forms is definitely a sport. Big Contests like the X Games, and Street League have insured that some basic principals of sport are used to judge a very individualized set of Skate skills. In order to be one of the top Competitive Skaters or just the best Skater you can be, you’ve got to put in the hours.

Monster Energy’s PLG is a true competitor in every sense of the word. He excels under pressure and his competitive track record is heavy; right up there with the winningest skaters in history like Tony Hawk and Nyjah Huston. Just like skateboarding, PLG is constantly evolving and his future has Bowled Corners, Pool Coping, Love Seats, and heated backyard sessions on the horizon.
