This past May Orchard packed up a van and hit the road with no purpose other than visiting some of the team riders’ sponsors out in Ohio and soaking up that beautiful midwest crust along the way. It turned out to be quite the fruitful mission as seen in this new edit closed out by an introduction part welcoming siblings Eddie & Jojo Vargas to the Orchard team!

First up is shop team rider and Traffic pro Kevin Coakley and a memorable day at a crusty rollercoaster bank in Barcelona while filming for Traffic’s Third Shift video.
Copley Square has been a homebase for Boston skateboarders for over 30 years, with most of the action going down at the Library or fountain. Just to the side of the Library sits a painted yellow sloping concrete barrier with a super unique shape that seems to be highly skateable, the only catch is that it’s an entrance to the Mass Pike Interstate and at the intersection of 5 streets in the heart of the city.

In September 2014 Converse CONS and Labor Skateshop invited the crew down to New York to take part in their one day skate contest All City Showdown. The goal is to get as many clips as possible in one day, all within New York City limits. The crew was supposed to be Kevin Coakley, Nickodem Rudzinski, and Lurker Lou, but Lou threw out his back the day before. Cape Cod homie and current team rider Brian Reid happened to be in the city for a Damn Am contest, but he bailed on the skatepark to join the crew in the streets. The crew ended up getting 3rd place and Brian and Nick got some extra prize money for bonus radness. Labor already put out an edit with all of the entries so we decided to do a re edit of the day. This rough edit has been lurking in our private videos, and when we went to clean it up all of the original files had gone missing. So here’s some extra rough rough cuts.
Back in 2014-15 Orchard team rider Eric Dasaro was working on an HD part for a video that Cuong Ngo was putting together. Unfortunately that whole project never fully materialized, but out of nowhere CN blessed us with this 3 minute edit of Eric linking lines at some classic Downtown Boston spots.
The boys over at SmlTalk.com put on an amazing Boston Skate Awards show every year, and they gave shop co-founder Bro Gumpright the Lifetime Acheivement award in 2015.
