It’s time to get back in the van—Peacock’s driving. A self-described professional road trip organizer and videographer, Josh “Peacock” Henderson is, simply put, the best. Join a full squad as they spend three days scouring over 200 miles of central California in search of clips at six epic spots. Peacock’s got the homie hookups and the access codes to get into secret locations without interruption.
Between breaking down fences for a little off-roading to a DIY, tapping into private backyards with cement pours and ramp compounds—plus roadside chaos when the van breaks down and the crew has to push before a Humvee comes through with a tow—this episode of Life in the Van has it all.
Where does it all begin? Phoenix Sinnerton called it “one of the most perfect DIYs in the middle of absolute nowhere.” Enjoy
We met up with Salba and Phoenix Sinnerton to see what goes into a day in the deep end. We hope we will be skating pools when we are 62!
Backyard pool skateboarding has been a staple of the scene since its early days, and it remains a territory truly mastered by a select few. John Worthington, better known as Jworth, is one of those elite skaters. He effortlessly carves through the deepest pool lights, grinds coping, and connects lines around the shallow-end staircases. With experience navigating various pool shapes, sizes, and conditions, Jworth is no stranger to making what he finds easily skateable. Join Jworth in Spot to Spot as he jumps in the van with filmer Josh Peacock and rippers Taylor Nye, Lilly Erickson, Phoenix Sinnerton, Pedro Quintas, Dillon Doinklon, Tristan Rennie, and Tommy Calvert as they keep the flame alive in an often-overlooked corner of skateboarding.
It wouldn’t be the Pacific NorthWest without a bit of rain. But that didn’t dampen the mood of the park skateboarders as they waited for the moment we were all waiting for, and the show that ensued did not disappoint. A total of 18 park skateboarders dropped in, each taking their own unique angle at the curvatures, extensions, and out-of-bounce opportunities. Watch the ripping montage recap of the men’s park qualifier above featuring Chris Russell, Tommy Calvert, Cory Juneau, Nick Peterson, Eli Williams, Roman Pabich, Phoenix Sinnerton, Taylor Nye, Keefer Wilson, Tristan Rennie, Keegan Palmer, Tate Carew, Vincent Matheron, Tom Schaar, Kieran Woolley, Yuro Nagahara, and Greyson Fletcher.
Today we are stoked to hangout with Phoenix Sinnerton for a day of heavy skating, then we roll over to Phoenix’s house to see how the young shredder lives day to day!
