30 shops / crews went head to head in a battle to the finish at this year’s Clash of the Crews. Some of them even camped out on the floor. Big thanks to Vans, Ray Barbee, Salt Life Beer and all the crews that came to participate. Check out the Death Race, Best Trick, Concrete Jam and Street Contest coverage right here.
Andrew Reynolds, Paul Rodriguez and Shane O’Neill have all won. Who will it be this year? Only one way to find out… 25th Annual Tampa Pro: March 1-3, 2019 at Skatepark of Tampa.
One of the new additions to the Vans Clash of the Crews Shop vs. Shop contest this year was an insane Concrete Jam, where each crew picked their best cement chomper to go all out in the courtyard. As usual, things got way crazier than expected.
30 Crews went head to head on January 19, 2019 for our annual Clash of the Crews contest, presented by Vans. There were shops from all over the country, including Chicago’s Asylum Skateshop, Vu from Baltimore, and South Carolina’s Bluetile Skateshop, and even the legendary Ray Barbee was in attendance. Check out some highlights from the Street Contest.
Once again, shops from all over the country come to SPoT to battle it out for $2,000 and street cred at Vans Clash of the Crews. The night before, we welcome everyone to town with an epic Death Race around the Pro Course. This year we added a kids’ race and an actual “Athletic Race” where people just run it…because, why not? Big thanks to Salt Life for hooking us up with some free beer for 21+.
Here’s some highlights from previous years’ winners. Who will take it this year? 25th Annual Tampa Pro: March 1-3, 2019, Skatepark of Tampa. Tickets available now at SPoTTampa.com/Tickets
Think of doing all of your hardest tricks possible with other skaters in your way at all times. Welcome to the Converse Concrete Jam, seems like it’s gotta be more fun to watch than skate.
You already know what to expect each year from Independent Best Trick at Tampa Am. Or do you!? This time Schaefer and the crew literally upped the ante with a mega launcher that was enough to turn an ollie into a hard trick. Bruno Senra’s ghetto bird over the 16 foot gap clinched it, but that’s only part of the story. Here’s the rest.
Daisuke Ikeda blew the SPoT roof off with a brain-scorching run that earned a 92 and took home the win for Japan at the 25th Annual Tampa Am. Congrats Daisuke!
The Finals are never easy, but for the 25th Annual Tampa Am it was NEXT level. Peru, Portugal, Germany, and the USA all turned up the heat, but the Brazilians and Japanese took it to 11. In the end, Tampa Am delivered all of the stoke and drama it’s famous for, and MORE.
How Ikeda Daisuke won Tampa AM 2018, 1st place winning run straight to a champagne shower.
