2016 Damn Am Brazil: Here’s How Lucas Alves Won
It’s almost a rule then whenever someone wins a Golden Ticket out of Qualifiers they end up blowing it in the Finals. But apparently Brazilians don’t like rules. Lucas Alves won Qualfiers and then in the last run of the entire Damn Am weekend, shocked himself and the city of Santos with the greatest ender of all time. Lucas also gets a free round trip to Tampa and a prequalified spot in the Tampa Am Semi-Finals.
Sammy Baptista – DREAM FULFILLED – Skate Sauce
The skate world was introduced to Sammy Baptista in 1998 in the classic video Shorty’s “Fulfill the Dream”. After living the dream and having a lengthy career Sammy decided to retire in 2014. With all the pressure off his back Sammy filmed these last clips with Skate Sauce for this video “Dream Fulfilled.”

2016 Damn Am Brazil: Qualifiers
186 South American skaters came out to Santos Brazil with the goal of ripping the course to shreds. And they did, pretty much surpassing every expectation imaginable. With perfect weather, an amazing vibe, and more hype than any am contest ever, this might have been the greatest day of Damn Am Qualifiers ever.
Simple Session 2016 Qualifiers
