We try the 7.75 VX Deck to see how this board holds up against a mid 30’s brand manager who has a history of breaking boards. Then Santa Cruz put Brand Manager Andrew Cannon and Ricta Brand Manger / Visit Skateboards Pro Kelly Hart to the test with three different challenges.

Nike SB Japan | Toyosu Park Chaos Derby
The Nike SB Japan crew finally christened the Tokyo Sport Playground Skateplaza with a proper, fun ceremony October 13, 2020. The Chaos Derby, hosted by local community brand Chaos Fishing Club, featured Taihou Tokura, Keyaki Ike, Ryuhei Kitazume, Daisuke Ikeda, Ryo Motohashi, Toru Yoshida, and many more. The Tokyo Sport Playground, located in Shin-Toyosu, is now open to the public free of admission. Pre-registration needed via the Nike App’s Events page.

When the opportunity arose to visit Lundhs Real Stone quarry and create a permanent Larvikite skatepark for the town’s skate scene, Torey Pudwill, Chris Haslam and Angelo Caro flew in to link up with local pro Deedz and session the 300 million-year-old terrain in situ – before bringing it all down from the mountain quarry to create a permanent skate space in Larvik itself.
