Z-Flex – The Pool Search (Jay Adams Model)
When the waves are flat, there’s only one thing to do in Venice Beach, skate! Tim Misagal, Sean Johnson, and Hayden Hanson meet up for a morning session at the Venice Skatepark before hitting the road in search of the perfect backyard pool. In preparation for summer, the boys are riding the new Jay Adams Model from Z-Flex. This board is a throwback pool shape, with a look that is reminiscent of the heyday of Venice Beach skateboarding. VPS Challenger Profile: Heimana Reynolds
Vans Park Series newest tour challenger The Flyin’ Hawaiian, Heimana Reynolds, is no stranger to VPS. In 2018 Heimana caught the eye of our selection committee by flying around the Huntington Beach stop of the tour like a damn ʻApapane. We’re excited he’ll be joining us at all the stops in 2019 as a tour challenger. Watch as Rick and Buddy of Six Stair spend the day with Heimana in Hawaii.

Pro Highlights 2019 | Vans Pool Party | VANS
It came as no surprise that Tom Schaar won the 2019 Vans Pool Party Pro contest for the third year straight but it was no walk in the park. Tristan Rennie, 2nd, and Moto Shibata, 3rd, showed up swinging to give a run for his money. Bucky Lasek, 4th, showed strong, fast runs throughout the finals and narrowly missed the podium. Watch the highlights for all the action.
