A Summer Affair at W Barcelona

W Hotels and RVCA set out to explore some of the most lust-worthy destinations in Europe, starting at the Spanish capital. Earlier this Summer, a crew of riders and creatives travelled to W Barcelona for a fun-filled week, seeking the best spots and experiencing everything the city has to offer in skate, design, music and surf. Follow RVCA ambassadors on this sun-kissed journey, including musician Julia Nar, singer Le Nais, skateboarders Barney Page, Octavio Barrera as well as surfers Patrick Beven, Hugo Ortega and Thomas Martin. OFFICIAL SKATE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SIMPLE SESSION 21

Simple Session 21 was back in Tallinn, Estonia, on August 20–21 with a big summertime festival and an all-around good time. The Simple Session series hosted an exciting contest in the hip new Põhjala district – an old rubber factory turned into a cultural hub served as a thrilling new location for the event. The finest skaters from around the world went head to head on a new 800m2 Wessel-designed street course.

MIRADOR II – Monster Energy

Mirador 2 is back with a unique take on skateboarding making the most of an FPV drone. Kevin Baekkel, Jorge Simoes, Gabriel Fortunato, and Marek Zaprazny hit up the spots of the Mediterranean but with a difference. Gaps and ledge tech are accompanied by full loops and graceful drone flying, showing skateboarding from a new perspective.

DC SHOES : CUBA SKATE

DC Films is proud to present Cuba Skate. This short documentary highlights the efforts of the nonprofit organization and their dedication to cultivating a sustainable future for skateboarding in Cuba. DC pro Madars Apse joined a crew of skaters and cinematographers as they got a hands-on, inside look at the burgeoning skate scene in Cuba. Beyond just bringing skateboarding to the island, the film showcases how Cuba Skate brings the youth together and helps them to develop useful life skills.
