Introducing the Winterized Collection by Etnies
These styles have been WINTERIZED. And we’re not just talking waterproof. We’re talking about a true winter shoe that has been completely overhauled & re-tread. This all-terrain collection has been modified to combat the brutal elements of winter. The outsole is made from a pure gum compound with a particularly low freezing rate and a protruding reverse lug tread pattern for maximum traction on snow and ice. The entire upper is treated with a water-repellent guard, the liner is made with insulated, quick dry material, and a gusseted tongue keeps the snow, puddles and mud from sneaking in your shoe.
Michelin Marana: New & Improved feat. Chris Joslin
The most durable skateboarding shoe on the market has partnered with one of the world’s top manufacturers of premium rubber to develop an outsole that is 3X MORE DURABLE. The original Marana was an incredibly durable shoe, but contrary to most skate shoes, the upper was so long lasting that the 400 NBS rubber outsole could not keep up. We were able to identify a weakness in the outsole as an opportunity to make the shoe even better than before and in an effort to continuously improve the world’s most durable skateboarding footwear, etnies joined forces with Michelin to translate the performance and durability of Michelin tires to the outsole of a shoe.
