World Skate SIT DOWN: Vincent Milou

Vincent Milou has walked skateboarding’s current highwire act better than most. Mainstream skateboarding media is currently preaching to ever-smaller congregations about what constitutes legitimacy in this tastemaking sphere of youth culture; meanwhile, contests flourish in a post-Covid era.

Sponsors want their skateboarders to do the impossible- to broadcast and narrowcast them at the same time. As something clearly has to give there- and with the tide going against cool-guy culture in this day and age of inclusion- Vincent has just recently resolved a longstanding board sponsor limbo.

He returned to Rome for WST World Cup 2025 in order to reclaim his position as the crowd’s darling everywhere he goes.
