Pedro Barros came to Vancouver ready to shred…and needless to say, the dude dominated. Vancouver saw a come-from-behind dogfight on Saturday as Brazilian bulldog Pedro Barros left it late to claim the top spot at this, his first time skating in Canada.

Vans returned to the legendary Hastings Park in Vancouver, Canada for the 4th stop of the 2017 Vans Park Series. Every contest seems to get better, and this year Canada was no different. This was Pedro Barros first contest on Canadian soil, and he didn’t disappoint the rabid skate fans of Vancouver. The skating was next level, and everyone was putting together video part tricks in their contest runs, but at the end it was Tom Schaar 3rd, Karl Berglind 2nd, and Pedro Barros 1st, claiming his second win of 2017.

Converse Cons Brazil Big Pool Day 2017
The first weekend in July, Converse Cons Brazil hosted the “Converse Big Pool Day” contest at the soon to be defunct Jequitibá Recreational Club swimming pool in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With cash on the line the best transition skaters came from all over South America and beyond for one last session at the legendary pool. When the dust settled it was 1 – Pedro Barros, 2- Luiz Francisco, 3 – Jhonny Gasparoto, 4- Otavio Neto, and 5- Kevin Kowalsky taking home the loot.
