It doesn’t always go as planned, but Roman Hager goes for it all the same. Start the day with Roman warming up his legs at Frogtown [Marsh] Skatepark in L.A. He calls it “the most hesh park in L.A., for sure,” and says he’s “the least hesh skateboarder in L.A. right now, probably.” Obviously, we disagree. Watch him for a few minutes and you will, too.
From there it is off to a Boyle Heights sidewalk bump-to-rail spot for a three-piece, and then to Mariachi Plaza to remix a classic spot with some construction materials found in the zone. Afterward it’s over to a well-known Little Tokyo rail before heading downtown to put his legs to the jump test. Watch the video to see the final results.
