ALTAMONT X RYAN LAY

Ryan Lay is known for his unique style, global travel and community work with his non-profit Skate After School. He wanted to create some pieces that could easily stuff into a travel bag, and take you from skating in streets straight into a meeting. We worked closely with Lay to create an updated version of a loose-fit pleated chino, while adding some signature details. The’Altamont X Lay Pant’ is our widest fit and includes custom art by Lay’s good friend Michael Worful, embroidered on the back top right and screen-printed on the inside pocket – these pants are the perfect blend of formal and comfort!

The days were filled with jam-packed demos (thanks to the locals!), dodging the rain, Chinese food every night, meat markets, sightseeing Xi’an’s Terracotta Army and tuk tuks whisking us from to and fro. At the end of the day, nobody dared to try the chicken feet, but Barney did, unsurprisingly, lose his phone. Watch the 15-minute video as it takes you on the team’s journey through China!
