18 shop teams from all over the South East descended on the Skatepark of Tampa for the annual Clash of the Crews. With ams and pros allowed in the mix things got heated quick when mega pros like Felipe Gustavo rolled into town. There was also racing, waffle burgers, and the sack of the century.

Tampa Am 2015: Converse Concrete Jam – SPoT Life
The now bi-annual Concrete Jam consists of all of the best parts of SPoT’s 23 year history crammed into a one hour shred fest. There’s beer, music, girls, bros, and a pack of wild ams going for grinds and glory out at the bowled in courtyard. Mayhem ensued this year and after one particularly vicious slams it’s a relief to report that no one died.

Day two of Tampa Am Qualifiers had 134 skaters taking a crack at impressing the judges with their best tricks. After five solid hours of Qualifying runs we whittled them down to the top 16 who’ll be skating in the next round.

Tampa Am 2015: Practice
Winning Tampa Am starts with trying to get your tricks dialed before they call your name to take your runs. And this year over 200 of the world’s hungriest Ams rolled into town in a bid to do just that. The moves going down in practice were insane and the skating is only going to get gnarlier once Qualifiers officially kick off.

Damn Am Woodward West 2015 Winner: Congrats to Yoshi Tanenbaum!
First Yoshi won in Atlanta, then he won in NYC, and now he’s done it AGAIN at Woodward West. And in addition to the glory of taking three Damn Am Select Series stops, which is an NBD of epic proportions, Yoshi earns the title of Damn Am of the Year and gets a spot in the 2016 SLS Pro Open. But first we’ll be seeing him at Tampa Am in November where he’s already got a spot reserved in the Semi-Finals.
