With just two weeks left until the ultimate park terrain skateboarding battle, the world’s skateboarding elite are honing their skills in preparation for the 2017 Vans Park Series World Championships taking place in Shanghai, China on September 23. Located in the world-famous Bund waterfront area in central Shanghai, China, the 2017 VPS World Championships will pit skateboarding’s elite pros against select VPS Continental Champions to present the greatest showcase of men’s and women’s park terrain skateboarding talent the world has ever seen in a custom designed and purpose-built, VPS-certified park terrain competition course. With a total purse of more than US$160,000 on the line, this historic culmination will officially crown the men’s and women’s 2017 VPS World Champions of Park Terrain Skateboarding and establish next year’s elite VPS Pro Tour class.
