Vans Shop Riot 2017: Baltics Qualifiers | Shop Riot | VANS
The most exciting action sports event in the Baltics took place in Riga’s infamous Monsterpark. The finest skate shop teams from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania competed against each other to be the official Baltic state participant at the Vans Shop Riot European. Following a hard-fought contest, it was Latvia’s Clockwise taking first place and earning their space in the finals. Second place went to last year’s 3rd place winners OnWheels from Estonia and in third place were Board LV Shop from Latvia.

In a contest weekend that threw perceived wisdom to the wind, the Huntington Beach leg of Vans Park Series was all about the young guns. There were plenty of skaters punching above their weight on the temporary skatepark constructed on the sand at the Vans U.S. Open of Surfing. Sit back, crack open a cold one, and enjoy a weekend worth of hammers from the fifth stop of the Vans Park Series in Huntington Beach.

Stop 5 of the 2017 Vans Park Series was back on the hot sands of Huntington Beach. The quality of skating was at an all time high in the custom built skatepark lead by young gun Tom Schaar who stamped his name into first place on the event. Ben Hatchell was back and better than ever with a mind blowing run that put him in 2nd place while CJ Collins came in at 3rd place with a ru that no 14 year old should be doing!
