Elliot Sloan finally got a rail built for the Mega Park! A big inspiration for the mega park and the rail has come from snowboard slope style. For years I’ve thought how fun it would be to be able to hit a rail in a line. I’m stoked to add this feature to the ramp. All the dudes killed it!! It was so sick to have Guy Mariano and Lizard King come check it out too! – Elliot Sloan

Skateboarding’s realm is comprised of pushing mental and physical boundaries on their beloved four wheeled wood plank. Whether it be launching off the ground or above the lip of an empty pool, progression is the common denominator and spots are the benchmark of this evolution. MACBA Life and Volcom both share this passion for skateboarding and joined forces to celebrate one of the most iconic skate spots on earth: MACBA Barcelona. Shop the collection HERE.
After unboxing the truck delivery, Micky Papa gets to work creating a full skate edit along with Zander Gabriel, Mike Piwowar, and Chris Pierre. The crew starts off warming up on the features in the streets around Micky’s place in Los Angeles, bringing out the rails and kicker ramp to get things going. Eventually the session gets airborne over the fence in Micky’s front yard, then moves to the backyard and involves skating through the house and grinding a rail over a kiddie pool. We end the session with some fun lines and a group session nearby before calling it a day.
