His garage is literally wallpapered with classic and collectible decks; attached it is a studio nook where his adorable Jack Russell, “Moose,” lazily lounges; and, in his backyard, might be one of the only houses in Vista, California with a cool AF half pipe and mega ramp. In this Sound Check episode, the ever lowkey Sloan takes us on a tour of it all, and shares some wisdom about the parallels between riff writing and flexing new skate moves, he says: “You don’t have to worry about eating shit when writing a riff.”
