Go Skateboarding Day 2025 at the Brooklyn Banks
Jon Edwards takes you to the Brooklyn Banks reopening for Go Skateboarding Day 2025 with a contest hosted by Vans, the Skatepark Project, and Steve Rodriguez.
Cash was handed out for best tricks around all the classic spots. Featuring Zion Wright, Kyle Walker, Ryan Hamburg, Jiro Platt, Daiki Hoshino, Devin Flynn, and others from the Vans and Red Bull teams.
2025 GO SKATE DAY | BROOKLYN BANKS | VANS
Truly a Go Skateboarding Day for the books! New York never fails to show up and what a perfect way to celebrate the return of the big banks. Vans thanks their partners at Gotham Park, The Skatepark Project and VFC Foundation for helping bring this event to life and returning the banks to Skateboarding. Much love to the Vans skate team and everyone who came and skated, enjoyed the music, grabbed a slice, or just watched all the action.
Brooklyn Banks ‘Back-to-School’ Event & Supply The Ride Gear Giveaway – The Skatepark Project
In early September, The Skatepark Project held a Back to School gear giveaway and event at The Brooklyn Banks in partnership with the Super Skate Posse, Vans, Gumball 3000 Foundation, and community-based group Gotham Park!
One hundred kids received free skateboards, helmets, Vans shoes, and tote bags filled with fun items and school supplies. The day featured skate lessons from pros, yoga for skaters, and a whole lot of stoke.
