The Day: Enjoi

Watching Bag Of Suck on repeat got us nostalgic for a little San Jose trip. So we hopped a flight to Silicon Valley and booked a room at the legendary Tiltmode Mansion. We were lovingly welcomed by the mansion’s owner and proprietor, Louie Barletta with a warm couch to sleep on and some cool beverages to quench our thirst. We hit some parks, some streets, and even some arcades and bowling alleys before our day was over. We got the full Enjoi V.I.P. treatment! The crew was Louie, Caswell Berry, Jackson Pilz, Mike Adamov, Zack Wallin, Jose Rojo, and of course Ben Raemers. Bless his soul, little Ben couldn’t find any hardware all day long so he didn’t get to skate with us. He may actually still be looking for some now, so if you see Ben in the streets, be a dear and give him a few nuts or a bolt.

Jaws And Raybourn Footage In “The Other Ones”

Good footage is good footage. Whether you’ve seen it once or 100 times, chances are if something is sick you don’t mind watching it again. Using that logic we hit up master videographer Thad Croskey for some old clips of our team boys Ben and Jaws. Thad was the filmer for Ipath Footwear back in the days when Ben and Jaws were first discovered and thrown in to the face of the skate world. Thad made an epic video called “The Other Ones” that both boys had a part in. We had Thad dig through his archives and pick out some of the bangers to make this little throwback edit. These two have come a long way, but they have always been insane to watch skate and it’s rad to have little time capsules like this to keep the memories alive.

David Gravette: A Boy And His Flat Bar

David Gravette got his first flat bar from an old CCS catalog almost 20 years ago and used that thing to learn what it takes to become one of the gnarliest rail skaters of all time. That may sound like a claim, but it’s really not. David can sit on a rail with a certain kind of confidence that only comes from thousands of hours of flat bar sessions. Funny enough, all of those sessions were on that old CCS rail. Fast forward nearly two decades and David is the newest edition to the CCS team, so we thought it was fitting to take that old, rusty flat bar out of retirement and drag it around the city to see what kind of shit we could get in to. Luckily for us there was plenty of shit. We’re stoked to have David as part of the crew at CCS!

Walker Ryan For Imperial Motion

Our friends over at Imperial Motion have been quietly growing a pretty epic skate program for the last few years. With the recent addition of super-shredder and all-around good dude, Walker Ryan, they’re really killing it! We caught up with Walker at Sheldon Park in LA and filmed a few clips of him ripping around in some of IM’s newest gear. Leave it to Walker to shut down the park in less than an hour and look great doing it. Get stoked off this video and then check out our selection of Imperial Motion at CCS!

Dusted Crew At Windells Skate Camp

Chris Varcadipane checked in with this sick edit of some of the boys from the Dusted video killing it at Windells Skate Camp in Oregon. These dudes are still hard at work on the full length Dusted vid and it’s dropping in June! Judging by the looks of this edit, everyone’s going to have sick parts, and Mike Davis is looking like he’s going to blow minds! Stay tuned for more from the Dusted crew as we get closer to the premiere of the video.
