This years 2021 Banger in the Hanger in Houston went off in true backyard skateboarding form. Returning this year was Tony Hawk, Christian Hosoi, Kevin Staab along with some others you may recognize from last years event. This year Rune Gilfberg, Nicky Guerrero and a few other heavy hitters joined Bucky Lasek in once again tearing up the Houston Vert ramp under the lights with insane skateboarding from an high energy charged crowd. Crush the Day with Sky Brown | DEW Tour Aimless Episode 15
Ever wonder what life could have been like as sponsored skateboarder, surfer, and an Olympic hopeful all before the age of 15? We get a glimpse of all that and more with 12-year old phenom Sky Brown as she brings us along on a schedule-packed day. Sky and her brother, Ocean, kick things off in Oceanside, California, with a surf session, followed by a homemade breakfast. Then it’s on to knocking out a training exercise and online schoolwork. They finish the day with more skateboarding and even a surprise appearance by legendary skater Christian Hosoi.
Grosso Forever: The Propeller Vert Sessions | Skate | VANS
With Propeller being the first ever full-length skateboarding film from Vans, there was no question that it needed to pay homage its roots. Opening with an 80’s style backyard ramp session quickly became the plan, but what most don’t know is that Jeff Grosso single-handedly made it happen. From finding the location to assembling the skaters, Jeff became the heart and soul behind the shoot. Here for the first time is a full cut of what went down during those three epic days. This is a tribute to Jeff and everything he brought to our world through his boundless love for skateboarding. Featuring Jeff Grosso, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi, Lizzie Armanto and Omar Hassan.

RVCALOHA 2019 | Hosoi Hammerhead Art Show
The main event of RVCAloha 2019 took place December 4th and was a night to remember. The evening’s exhibition, entitled ‘The #HammerheadShow’, was a unique exhibition showcasing of artwork dedicated to Christian Hosoi, inspired by his long legacy in skateboarding and the original Hammerhead deck painted by Keith Haring for Christian back in 1986. The show featured over 50 artists from around the world, ranging from close friends of the legendary skateboarder, to those who idolized him and his iconic style from afar. Replicas of the original hammerhead deck were provided to each artist to paint and each was hung along with an accompanying canvas, to create a one of a kind collection and art show. Proceeds from the purchase of each work will be donated to charitable causes of the artists’ and Christian’s choice.
