John Gardner is on a mission to shine a light on suicide and mental health awareness within the skate community. To help in his efforts, John designed an eco-friendly skate collection that raises awareness while also raising funds for the Diné Skate Garden Project in New Mexico. John will be donating all of his royalties to help with the skatepark build, and DC will be matching his contribution.
John designed a 100% vegan-friendly colorway of DC’s popular Manual Hi with an organic cotton upper and IMPACT-ALG™ insoles made from algae blooms. Black Sabbath’s music—and the heavy metal movement it spawned—is eternally linked to skateboarding history. Sabbath has been the soundtrack for some of the heaviest-hitting video parts of all time. It’s still the pump-up music for skaters—packed into smoke-filled cars, stumbling from spot to spot as Sweet Leaf puffs out of the shitty, blown-out speakers. And, 50 years on from their genre-defining 1971 album, Master of Reality, DC is celebrating one of the

This short documentary highlights the efforts of the nonprofit organization and their dedication to cultivating a sustainable future for skateboarding in Cuba. DC pro Madars Apse joined a crew of skaters and cinematographers as they got a hands-on, inside look at the burgeoning skate scene in Cuba. Beyond just bringing skateboarding to the island, the film showcases how Cuba Skate brings the youth together and helps them to develop useful life skills.

Beyond just bringing skateboarding to the island, the film showcases how they’re bringing the youth together and helping them develop skills like recycling, woodworking, construction, photography, and much more.

DC SHOES : SABOTAGE “NO LOVE LOST”
For years, Philly-based Sabotage Productions has been pumping out nostalgic skate edits reminiscent of the early days of Love Park. Their love for DC’s Heritage styles inspired them to bring the Lynx OG and Kalis OG back into the lineup in 2018. In fact, DC even consulted the Sabotage crew to make sure they were exactly the same as the originals that they released over 20 years before. To bring it all full circle in 2021, DC designed a custom collection with Sabotage—featuring a Heritage-inspired Lynx OG colorway with a first-ever tongue stash pocket and custom beanie.
To accompany this limited release, DC produced NO LOVE LOST, a mini documentary highlighting the Sabotage crew and their role in bringing back our Heritage styles.
