Ornamental Conifer is an artist whose background started painting trains & walls, until he discovered his skill in sign writing style which would propel him from his home turf in London to residing in LA, showing at art galleries globally and consulting for some if the biggest global brands.

It is about commitment, using ‘One Shot’ paint, a sign writer, when applying that precision on surfaces such as glass, you have one shot! Like skateboarding, it takes real commitment to make that trick. The geometric shapes demonstrate that precision in hand painting with zero error which a takes a huge amount of commitment.

Elemental Awareness Skate Camp Alumni

For over a decade, the Elemental Awareness Foundation has been sending kids from underserved communities up to Skate Camp in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. This year we wanted to bring all of the generations of scholarship recipients together for a fun day of skating at the Berrics. Levi Brown, Chad Tim Tim, Chris Colbourn and Frankie Villani came out to shred with the kids and everyone was hooked up with new gear from Element and New Balance. Tom Shcaar is Pro for Element Skateboards

Tom Schaar is pro!!! At only 18, Tom Schaar is already one of Element’s longest tenured skate team members. As a youth superstar, Tom gained global skateboarding notoriety for being the youngest ever skateboarder to complete a 900 on vert, the first ever to complete a 1080, youngest X Games gold medalist, youngest Dew Tour and Vans Pool Party champions, and even made an appearance on the popular US talk show, “Ellen”. Recently, Tom has dropped the pads and began to conquer cement as an incredible bowl skater. Contest wins aside, in the last year he’s been featured with an interview in Thrasher and released a 3 minute solo part on ThrasherMagazine.com. 2018 will be a big year for Tom with a part in the Element video, “Peace”, competition on the Vans Skate Park Series, and preparation for Olympic qualifying.

2017 ELEMENT MAKE IT COUNT GLOBAL FINALS RECAP

The Element Make It Count Contest series is a global search for new, undiscovered talent that focuses on street skating. Each Global Finalist won an all expenses paid trip to Barcelona with the Element team. While most skaters have months, these guys had ONE WEEK to film parts in the streets! The public watched and scored each part, and although everyone ripped, in the end it was Marcio Roberto who tallied the highest score! Congratulations Marcio! And welcome to the Element Family!
