f you haven’t heard of Filipe Mota, something’s wrong with you. This kid is everywhere. Only 15 years old and dominating the skate game, Filipe Mota has officially jumped from the Monster Army Team to the official Monster Energy Skate Team.

The one and only Nyjah Huston says it best, “Little Filipe is a beast. I see a lot of potential in him and his skating. I see a lot of dedication. I feel like he’s really willing to put in the hard work, to take his skating to that next level, just like where I was when I was a kid.”

27th Annual Tampa Pro | Tampa, FL – Monster Energy

The 27th annual Tampa Pro lived up to the hype that surrounded its highly anticipated arrival. Monster Energy’s very own, 27-year-old Olympic skateboarder Kelvin Hoefler from Guarujá, Brazil, took 2nd place, claiming a podium finish in one of the most heated finals in event history. Representing Brazil as well, Monster Energy rider and newly minted pro Gabriel Fortunato from Suzano, put his repertoire of technical street tricks on full display. Despite landing tricks that exceeded the average; he missed the cut into finals.

Monster Army rider Liam Pace also made waves in the legendary concrete bowl at Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT), receiving the ‘You Killed It’ award in the Concrete Jam Bowl skate event. Presented by Monster Energy as the official title sponsor, Tampa Pro is the most respected grassroots contest in skateboarding. It goes without saying that the skateboarding was in a league of its own all weekend.

MIRADOR II – BEHIND THE SCENES – MONSTER ENERGY

Go behind the scenes with the MIRADOR II crew deep in the Mediterranean, pushing the boundaries of skateboard documentation once again. With their use of FPV Drones, creative locations and a next-level crew of skaters, the filming team managed to capture spots that are normally super tricky to reach with conventional cameras. Pilot David Lougedo’s innovative filming required 3D printed bespoke parts, fit for the task of filming the skater’s impressive ledge tech and endless hill-bombs.

Lizzie Armanto, Women’s Skateboarding Pioneer and Olympic Athlete – Monster UNLEASHED Podcast E15

Trailblazer, innovator, global icon: Women’s skateboarding pioneer Lizzie Armanto joins The Dingo and Danny for an unforgettable episode of UNLEASHED.

The 28-year-old skateboard icon from Santa Monica, California, has achieved several historic milestones: Armanto was the first female rider featured on the cover of TransWorld Skateboarding magazine. In 2018, she made history as the first woman to complete the legendary ‘Loop of Death’ obstacle. Since taking gold in her X Games debut in Barcelona in 2013, she has earned a total of three X Games medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) and won the sport’s biggest competitions. Today, Armanto endorses signature skateboards and footwear for A-list brands, appears in video games and films.

This is Helride ‘21 – Monster Energy

Helride, the gem in the European skate calendar. Skate crews from all over Europe and beyond descended on the streets of Helsinki for a weekend of laughs, slams and never-been-done before tricks. DIY sessions, a visit to the Suvlahti skatepark, local spots with a twist, some van parties and a couple of rainstorms, all in all, Helride already has us counting down the days until next year.
