Best of Kelvin Hoefler | Dew Tour Long Beach 2017
Kelvin Hoefler is no stranger to Dew Tour podiums, winning his first competition back in 2015 and continued his winning streak with two back-to-back victories. This year in Long Beach Kelvin proved to have the stamina to skate all three courses and make into the modified gap course final. Kelvin fended off top competitors Shane O’Neill, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome, but in the end Kelvin’s Cab back tail down the Stanley rail won judges over. Silent ripper Yuto Horigome swiftly slid his way through the competition at Dew Tour Long Beach and ended up taking home third place! Hailing all the way from Japan, Yuto’s consistency and impressive delivery came in clutch for him and the Blind skate team placing on two podiums in one weekend. This year’s up scaled bowl hosted a slew of rippers that ensured for a crowd-pleasing competition. All 51 Am bowl contestants qualified through the Podium App and only the top 8 made to the finals.
