200 Kickflips With Stefan Janoski and Nike SB Flyleather: Recycled Leather VS Regular Suede
Stefan Janoski has come out with hundreds of version of his iconic shoe over the years, but the newest version is the first to take steps towards sustainability. The new Janoski Flyleather is made of over 50% recycled materials from a completely new upper made entirely from leather scraps to a sole that incorporates recycled rubber. The new version of the shoe ends up being lighter than the original while maintaining the same durability. To truly compare the two CCS had Stefan do 100 regular kickflips and 100 switch flips in one of the original and one of the Flyleather. The results were pretty amazing. Check the video then grab a pair of the new Flyleather at CCS.com!

Nike SB | Janoski Flyleather
In December 2019, Stefan Janoski headed to London with Elissa Steamer to check out the new Janoski Flyleather. Meeting with the local crew of Korahn Gayle, Casper Brooker and Kyron Davis, they put the shoe through its paces on the streets of London and checked out the factory where Flyleather is made. Comprised of at least 50% recycled leather fiber from scraps that would otherwise be left on the factory floor, Flyleather is a lightweight alternative to traditional suede that doesn’t sacrifice durability or skateability. Learn more about how Nike’s keeping material out of the landfill and reusing it to build a skate shoe for the future.
