Aside from those stories, people seem to forget that he mainly catches attention through his skating.

The cradle of surfing in the South American country, it saw the birth of the first national skate contests at the end of the 1970s and into the early ’80s. Pablo ‘Tatú’ Martinez, Marcelo ‘Mosca’ Bejanele, Ivan Damico and Luis Kretschmann are some of the skaters who led the local scene then, and they still skate the city’s streets to this day.
