Late October 2023’s Red Bull Drop-In Tour of Australia saw the gang host four roadblocked skate demo’s on an 8-day skate spree along the country’s east coast.
One of the most ambitious skate tours to date saw Torey Pudwill, TJ Rogers, Zion Wright, Gustavo Ribeiro, Felipe Gustavo, Alex Sorgente, Leticia Bufoni, Jamie Foy and Jake Wooten rock jam-packed sessions at the very different skateparks of Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney respectively.
In 2018, Torey Pudwill joined forces with Daewon Song to start Thank You Skateboards out of a warehouse in Simi Valley, CA. Five years later, business is booming and we’re seeing that happy cloud logo show up at every skatepark in the country (often paired with some Grizzly Griptape too, another one of Torey’s successful business ventures).
T-Puds invited Red Bull in for an exclusive look at how things run at Thank You for this first episode of their new series — skater owned and skater operated, this is GOOD WORK.
Ryan Sheckler has once again opened the doors to his skatepark and invited 17 of the world’s most well-rounded skateboarders to battle it out in year two of Red Bull SŌLUS. Each skater has one hour to put together their best line at The Sandlot; no crowd, no other skaters, no distractions – just an internal battle to get the best line possible.
Here is Nika’s run. Nika was born to skateboard and her style and proper flick of her tricks are evidence of that. She may not be a familiar name in skateboarding, but after you see her skate you’ll be a big fan.
Nika skates for adidas and Thunder Trucks.
