SPoT On: Jean Luc Vida
Last Saturday, our good friend and filmer Jean-Luc Vida premiered his new video 2 years in the making: Inequality. Featuring a handful of local homies and some SPoT team riders, the video turned out to be even better than we all expected. Over 200 people packed out the Muvico Centro Ybor theater, putting it over capacity, and everyone showed so much love. We sat down with Jean-Luc to get some perspective on such an epic project and what went into making it happen. Check out his SPoT On interview.

Adidas Away Days Premiere at SPoT
Adidas’ newest video, Away Days has been making the rounds and snapping necks, so we were stoked to be able to premiere it here at SPoT a couple weeks ago. Add in a Best Trick Contest to the mix and free giveaways, and it turned out to be a pretty rad day.
SPoT Product Watch: New Balance #NB Riverwalk
The Pro Court 212 Shoe is the latest team shoe from New Balance Numeric. The shoe features a vulcanized rubber outsole, strategic stitching in high abrasion areas and a rubber toe cap for added durability. Two of our Innetech employees, Chris Reitz and Andy Johnson, took a break from shipping packages and decided to take a couple pairs out in the streets last week. After a full day of research and development, they gave the Pro Court 5 stars.
The Deluxe Build Project – Tampa
The Build Project is a worldwide fundraising effort that included 250+ skate shops and local crews to help raise money to build/fix DIY skate spots in their areas. It is the brainchild of the brands behind Deluxe Distribution out of San Francisco, CA.
2016 Damn Am Brazil: Finals
The levels of tech and consistency at the Finals in Santos looked like more like a Damn Pro than a Damn Am. The Brazilians went for it from beginning to end, and here’s a look at the best of it all. Lets just hope this one becomes an annual tradition.
