Top Three Runs from Men’s Street Semifinals | Dew Tour Des Moines 2021

Dew Tour Des Moines delivered a heated 32-skater Men’s Street Semifinal despite rain delays. The day wrapped with Manny Santiago, Aurelien Giraud, and Yuto Horigome leaving semis on fire and leading the group of eight qualified for the final.

The best 21 skaters from qualifying met the top 11 World Skate ranked pre-seeded for an abbreviated semifinal format of two, 45-second runs with the best score counting. Each of the three heats felt like international finals of their own.

Manny Santiago, 35, came out blazing for Puerto Rico as the oldest skater in the contest. His first run fired everyone up and gave him the top score, but he bested himself on his second run and burnt the place down.

2020 Red Bull BOWL RIPPERS Highlights

Buckle up for a unique edition of Red Bull Bowl Rippers 2020 from Marseille. A stripped-back showdown promised to produce some much-needed skate action from the south of France this past weekend on October 3-4. The city’s very own son, Jean Pantaleo, beat all comers over the weekend to become the new champion of Red Bull Bowl Rippers, edging out previous winner Jaime Mateu by a single point.

In contention to put their stamp on the fabled Bowl Du Prado during this special edition of Red Bull’s annual seaside showdown was a 60-strong field of European shrednauts, including Elson Patrick, Danny León, Dannie Carlsen, Jean Pantaleo, Marcel Wintherlig, Anthony Mardelle, Stellio Sakellarides, Simon Léauté, Ivan Federico, Bjorn Lillesoe, Karl Berglind, Vincent Milou and Jaime Mateu.

With the weekend split into a Saturday contest and a Sunday Best Trick jam, Pantaleo doubled down on his contest victory by making an enormous transfer line into one of the bowls, a feat which had previously cost him not one, but two, broken heels.
