Slightly Removed – Capturing the memories with Chris Pfanner

The “Slightly Removed” story follows skateboarders Chris Pfanner and Axel Cruysberghs as they immerse themselves into Vancouver, Canada. A busy urban city surrounded by conifer rainforests. MACBA BACK TO THE 4

Volcom joined forces with @macbalife to help its vision become reality: putting back the 4th block at MACBA’s legendary Big4 spot for an event celebrating skateboarding history, and giving the opportunity to the new generation to add some tricks to the already long ABD list.

For only a couple hours, the party gathered some of the travelling pros, Europe finest ams, the eclectic Macba local scene and a horde of skateboarding enthusiasts shaking the museum and university walls with their cheers.

Just to name a few, Justin Sommer, Carlos Neira, Jorge Simoes, Adrien Bulard, Jordan Maxham and Robert Neal put on a great show, but Frenchmen Aurelien Giraud was the crowds favorite landing hammer after hammer. He won most of the cash claiming top 2 best NBD’s, the MVP award, and shut down the session after time with a perfect bs 360 kickflip.

Milion thanks to Alex Braza’s @macbalife, Ungravity, Javier Menéndez, Snipes, Transworld Skatebaording, ETN, Roberto Aleman, Alain Goikoetxea, Rufus, all the Macba locals and everyone who came enjoy the party with us.
