Dew Tour – Aimless in Chicago with Chris Colbourn – Aimless Episode 1

Welcome to the first episode of Aimless, a series where we’ll attempt to get a glimpse into the daily lives of the athletes who compete at the Dew Tour. We’re kicking off this new series in Chicago, IL by meeting up with MTN DEW rider Chris Colbourn, aka Cookie, as he kills some time skating the city before competing in the Boost Mobile Switch Jam. Follow along as Cookie battles travel misfortune, deals with less-than-desirable weather conditions, seeks out dry skate spots in the city, and earns a few Benjamins all in one day. Stop Three: St. Louis, Missouri | Red Bull CORNERSTONE 2019

The third Qualifying stop of the Red Bull Cornerstone series went down on a brand new street course at Sk8 Liborius – a skatepark in a church in St. Louis, Missouri.

Like the previous two stops in Lincoln and Kansas City, skaters from all over the Heartland made their way to the contest to try their luck at the podium and secure a spot in the Finals event in Minneapolis on October 6.

It was another event for the books and the top 6 Men and the top 3 Women from Saturday’s contest have all earned a spot in the Final’s event at Familia Skatepark in Minneapolis on October 6th. The Cornerstone qualifier series continues with Stop 4 at Familia on October 5, one day before the Final event!

Nike S.B. | Remembering Sandy Bodecker

Since working his way up from a footwear tester at Nike in the 80s, Sandy Bodecker left his mark on everything from running to soccer at the Swoosh. His most lasting legacy, though, was giving skaters a voice at Nike and building SB from a crazy idea into what it is today.

With an outsized personality, a stubborn will and two middle fingers always in the air, if it was impossible, Sandy was the guy to get it done. He helped shape everything that Nike SB has become: from the team of riders to the way we think about the shoes themselves.

Although he passed away in October of 2018, his fingerprints are still all over everything we do here at Nike SB. This is our tribute to the man who put the SB in Nike SB. Respect.
