The “Go East” Collection is the brainchild of Element Advocate and artist Chad Eaton. Inspired by Japanese Yokai, the ghosts of Japanese folklore, Noh masks, and the classic Sukajan or “Souvenir jacket”, first created by US soldiers stationed in Japan after WWII. In Episode One, we meet skateboarding twins Indy and Nico Jones from Encinitas, CA. With the influence of a dad who was immersed in the skate culture of the 80s and 90s, these two possess a love and knowledge of the sport that reaches well beyond their years.

“Evan and I crammed in a quick pitstop in Cape Town after our trip to Johannesburg, South Africa. Our new friend Charl, who we met at the goodpush summit by Skateistan in Jo-burg, offered to show us around and have a night skate. We skated from 10p until 2am, and at the very end of the sesh we met a street performer who provided us with a beautiful soundtrack for our night. Thank you to all the wonderful South Africans these two American boys met and talked to.
