When the opportunity to test a pair of ASICS skate shoes came along, CCS immediately knew tehy had to see how the Gel-Flexkee Pro 2.0 would hold up to 100 kickflips. The stars aligned with Evan being in town so they brought him to his old stomping grounds of Stoner Park and watched the flicks unfold.

CCS presents 100 Kickflips in Zion Wright’s new Vans Zahba colo way by Zion’s own REAL Skateboards teammate Tanner Van Vark. Tanner is known for his ability to climb on walls like he is Spider-man or something, so CCS is stoked to hear he was down to flip his board 100 times for us. Buy Vans Zahbas HERE.
Nike SB’s second Be True Dunk came in hot and colorful with some unique material choices so CCS thought it would be a good time to put them to the 100 test. They tapped their friend Jerrod La Rue who has impeccable style and phenomenal pop to do 100 heelflips in them at Frogtown park in L.A.
When CCS team rider Nora Vasconcellos CCS immediately scheduled a wear test with her, but as fate would have it Nora broke her ankle shortly after. So CCS called the entire CCS warehouse off the bench to pinch hit for her! They got three hours in the Adidas park in Portland OR to see how these things handled and we even threw 100 kickflips in the mix. The Nora is available now at CCS.com.
It’s likely CCS’s friend Cody Jacobson didn’t land all this first try and in between try’s he may have been eating a little shit.
