Santa Cruz figured out a way to stop boards from chipping on the nose and tail, CCS knew they had to wear test that shit. Tony Hawk Does 100 BLUNTS In His Lakai Proto Shoe
When CCS texted Tony Hawk about doing 100 of a trick in his Lakai shoe, on VERT, he made sure to let them know that meant he had to hit almost 200 walls of his ramp in one session. Not skating vert, we didn’t really know what this meant. Apparently it’s like running a marathon just to hit 12 walls in one run, so it was a tall order. Thankfully, Tony is as pro as he was at 14 and banged them out for us with a smile! We couldn’t be more stoked to see the legend in one of CCS’s wear tests! See how his shoe held up and grab a pair at CCS.com today!

100 Kickflps In The Vans TNT Advanced Prototype With Zach “Ducky” Kovacs
Normally CCS rider, Zach “Ducky” Kovacs has a hard time not speaking, but the second they put a camera on him he clams right up. Luckily for all of us the camera doesn’t affect his kickflips. He was able to breeze through 100 of them in the newest TNT model from Vans, the Advanced Prototype. Having two pins in his hand and a near broken toe didn’t even slow him down. See how they held up and then grab your own pair at CCS.com!
100 Kickflips In The Nike SB x NBA Bruin Low With Bobby Worrest and Trevor McCune
“Ever since we started doing these 100 Kickflip videos we’ve had a ton of people asking to do their own so we partnered with Nike SB to offer someone that very chance! Out of 1300 people tagging their best kickflips on Instagram it was Trevor McCune of Bakersfield CA who took the top prize. We flew Trevor up to Portland so he could do his very own 100 Kickflip challenge at the Nike SB park with Bobby Worrest in a new NBA edition Bruin shoe. It turns out he’s really, really good so this was not that hard for him… Check out the Bruin low as well as a ton of other Nike SB product at CCS now, and MAJOR congrats to Trevor for blowing our minds!” – CCS
Skateboarding In Socks: The Lost Stance Wear Test – CCS
“A couple years ago we had the terrible idea to put our entire warehouse in some Stance socks and see how a session on our slippery ass floor would go. The footage got lost in someone’s hard drive, and recently we stumbled upon all of it! Luckily no one died, and to be honest the socks held up pretty well. We don’t recommend skating with out shoes, however if you have too, Stance would be a good choice. It would also be a good choice to just buy some to wear in your shoes.” – CCS

If you’re not familiar with Clear Weather, they are a newer footwear brand that created some really unique skate shoes based on the idea of having suede where you need it. Their canvas uppers have a single piece of suede in the spot where you put all the wear on your shoe which gives a unique look and feel to a classic skate silhouette. CCS had their team rider Matt Barnette put their high top shoe, The Jeffrey, to the 100 Kickflip test and it did pretty damn well. Check out our selection of Clear Weather at CCS.com!
